In August 2019, Unicard and Payunicard became regional strategic partners of Visa International. This is the first and unique precedent for a joint partnership with the International Payment Systems of the Georgian Financial Technologies and Universal Loyalty Program.

Payunicard is a Unicard sub-brand that (ex Upera), in early 2020, along with an electronic wallet, will offer its loyal customers the first non-bank VISA / Mastercard payment cards. Payunicard will be closely associated with Unicard loyalty and various customer rewards, such as cachback, points, discounts and special offers from Unicard partners.

With Payunicard’s loyalty wallet, customers will be able to combine payment and accumulation cards into one space, make payments at any facility and online, transfer or convert money, repay a loan, or pay utility bills, and most importantly, receive rewards for each financial transaction.
